•  The overall count of 1,500 includes 1,446 new seats and 54 carry-forward backlog seats.

•  The selection starts with an online Preliminary Exam for screening.
•  The marks from the Prelims are not added to the final merit list.
•  The Mains Exam includes both multiple-choice and writing tests.
•  This year, the descriptive writing marks have been reduced to 30.
•  A psychometric test is used to check your personality and behavioral traits.
•  The final stage consists of a group discussion and a personal interview.

•  Prelims Syllabus: Includes English Language (40Q), Quantitative Aptitude (30Q), and Reasoning Ability (30Q).
•  Mains Objective Syllabus: Covers Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, Data Interpretation, General Awareness, and English.
•  Mains Descriptive Topics: You must write one Email, one Situation Analysis, and either a Report or Precis.
•  Quantitative Topics: Focuses on Simplification, Profit & Loss, Data Interpretation, and Number Systems.
•  Reasoning Topics: Includes Puzzles, Seating Arrangements, Coding-Decoding, and Syllogism.
•  General Awareness: Focuses on current affairs, financial news, and static banking knowledge.

•  The starting basic salary for an SBI PO is ₹48,480 per month.
•  The total monthly take-home pay is roughly between ₹80,000 and ₹82,000.
•  The yearly Cost to Company (CTC) has been increased to ₹21.97 Lakhs.
•  Bank officers receive various perks like medical help and house rent allowance.
•  The annual CTC varies slightly based on the city of posting.

•  The number of allowed attempts has been increased by 2 for each category this year.
•  General and EWS candidates can now take the exam 6 times.
•  OBC and certain PwBD candidates are allowed 9 attempts.
•  SC and ST candidates have no restriction on the number of times they can apply.
•  Appearing only for the Preliminary Exam does not count as an attempt.
•  An attempt is only counted if you appear for the Mains Exam.
