•The Radio Mechanic role required a Class 10 pass plus a 2-year ITI in relevant technical fields like General Electronics or Computer Programming.

•Just like the RO post, a Class 12 certificate with PCM subjects served as a valid qualification for the RM post too.

•Every applicant must be at least 18 years old to be considered for these jobs.

•The upper age limit for General category students was set at 25 years.

•OBC candidates received a small extension, allowing them to apply up to the age of 28 years.

•SC and ST candidates were granted more time, with an upper limit of 30 years.

•The BSF also provides extra age relaxations based on their internal rules and government guidelines.

•The total number of available seats for this recruitment was 1,121 posts.

•The Radio Operator (RO) section had the majority of the openings, with 910 seats available.
